Well it’s been a little while since we’ve posted a wedding but we are back with a cracker! We had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Chrisi and Matt last weekend and were lucky enough to have the ride of our lives in the process!
I can safely say – I can’t play golf. Nor can second photographer Emma. Well she’s never mentioned it at least. So you can’t even imagine the fun we had when we were given our own golf buggy to get ourselves around the grounds of East Horton Golf Club where the reception was held!! I can’t even begin to tell you how jealous I am when I see an OAP on a mobility scooter now – they must have so much fun!
Chrisi and Matt chose a traditional church service, with readings from friends, surrounded by their loved ones. After some family photos we headed to East Horton where Chrisi donned her fabulous red wellies and we took a little trip around the grounds (apologies to actual golfers for the sights and sounds they must have heard during!) Afterwards we managed to organise a great full group shot – and certainly one of the best cheers we’ve seen!
It was very important to Chrisi and Matt that their reception room be decorated as a beautiful winter wonderland – and they did this with bells on – it looked incredible. Hats off for all the time and effort put into all the details – as you will all see, the day was a triumphant success.
